🎁 Redeeming a winning bet

Because betting on P2PBet is on-chain and decentralized (meaning there is no centralized entity to payout winnings on your behalf) - you need to "redeem" your winnings once the events finish. To redeem the winnings from a successful bet, you can do this from the My Bets section on the P2PBet app.

• Click the profile icon at the top right of the homepage to reveal the drop-down menu.

• Select My Bets from the drop-down menu.

• Once you are at the "My Bets" page, find the successful bet under the "Unredeemed bets" section. On the bet tile, click "Redeem".

• MetaMask will open and you will need to confirm the transaction to claim your winnings.

Select "Redeem"

Select "Confirm" and wait for the transaction to confirm on-chain.

• Once your transaction has been confirmed on-chain, your winnings will be withdrawn directly to your wallet and the bet slip will show your bet as "Redeemed".

• You can verify transactions on Polygon Chain using the Polygon Chain block explorer.

You have successfully redeemed the winnings from your bet.
